With the APX software, Audio Precision offers a powerful framework for automatic audio measurements. In addition to extensive built-in measurement functions, the plug-in interface in sequence mode enables the modular loading of extended functions.
The field of psychoacoustic measurement technology, the foundations of which were developed by Zwicker et. al. laid decades ago has gained in importance in recent years.
Through the development of Dr. Jordan Design, various psychoacoustic parameters can be recorded in the APx software as a plugin. The basis for the calculation is the Akulap software from Dr. Jordan design. Akulap is a powerful audio analysis software that covers a large area of audio, acoustic and psychoacoustic measurement technology.
The software from Dr. Jordan Design therefore offers a complex psychoacoustic model as a plugin for the APX family, which, among other things, calculates the time-variant loudness in sones according to DIN45631/A1. This plugin fits seamlessly into the sequence mode so that you can use all measurement functions and evaluations of the APX software. The loudness is calculated in the background with Akulap.[nbsp]
The plugin is compatible with any audio analyzer of the APx series.
